Wyoming Adult Hearing Aid Program

In March 2024, the Wyoming Legislature created the Adult Hearing Aid Program under Wyoming Statute § 35-25-601, et. seq., to assist residents aged 18 and older who have significant hearing loss and limited income in obtaining medically necessary hearing aids. The program is administered by the Wyoming Department of Health and is for individuals who are not eligible to receive hearing aids through private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare or any other available third-party payor.

Funding is available to support approximately 30 to 34 eligible applicants during the initial application year.

The first application period will open on August 1, 2025, and will close on September 30, 2025. Only complete applications received by mail or fax during this timeframe will be considered.
